Welcoming Mohit Bhalodkar as VP of Global Strategy

Sphere Labs is thrilled to welcome Mohit Bhalodkar as our new VP of Global Strategy & Expansion.

Mohit joins Sphere’s executive leadership team at a pivotal moment. Over the past year, Sphere has processed billions in annualized payments volume via SpherePay, with new customers spanning every region of the world. As we expand beyond our core markets in the U.S. and Latin America, Mohit will lead the next phase of growth across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and other emerging regions, deepening partnerships with regulators, financial institutions, enterprises, and innovators shaping the future of cross-border money movement.

Background

Mohit brings over eight years of experience at the intersection of technology, finance, and operations. He most recently served as Director of Business Operations at Fanatics, and previously as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he helped build the firm’s generative AI practice and advised Fortune 500 leaders on go-to-market strategy, growth, and digital transformation.

His background also includes investment banking roles at J.P. Morgan and Capital One, with a focus on technology, media, and telecommunications. Mohit currently chairs the Budget, Education, and City Services Committee for Manhattan Community Board 5 and serves on the advisory board of Mercy University’s Strategic AI Program.

His multi-sector experience positions him well to help scale Sphere’s real-world payments infrastructure and advance innovation across global financial markets, reinforcing Sphere’s commitment to building the financial internet for regulated value transfer.
