Your Choices - Your Information
Some regions/territories give you a right to make the following choices regarding your personal information:
1.Right to know
You may request the following information about the personal information we have collected, used, disclosed or sold about you during the past 12 months, and to receive information in a commonly used, portable format:
- The categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
- The categories of sources from which we collected the personal information;
- The business or commercial purpose for which we collected the personal information;
- The categories of third parties with whom we shared the personal information; and the categories of personal information about you that we disclosed for a business purpose and sold to third parties, and the categories of third parties to whom the information was disclosed or sold.
2.Right to correct
You may request that we correct or modify your personal information.
3.Right to delete
You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, though we may be permitted to retain personal information for certain purposes.
4.Right to object
In certain circumstances, you may object to the processing of your personal information, or request that we restrict processing of your personal information, by following the instructions described below.
5.Right to non-discrimination
You have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
6.Right to Appeal
You may have the right to appeal our response to your request.
7.Submitting a privacy request
To submit a request to exercise any of the privacy rights described above, you may email us at Support@spherepay.co. To protect your information, we will verify your identity before responding to your request. To verify your identity, we will request some information from you. We will require two (2) forms of government issued identification. This can be something like a passport and a current, valid drivers licence.
8.Authorized persons
In some circumstances, you may designate an authorized person(s) to submit requests to exercise certain privacy rights on your behalf. If any authorized person submits a request on your behalf, we require the authorized person to submit the following information so that we can confirm their authority to act on your behalf:
Evidence of authorization to act on your behalf, such as with a:
- Secretary of State authorization,
- Notarized written permission from the individual under which the information is held, or
- Power of attorney; and
- Evidence of your identity: this is outlined in the photo documentation stipulation as listed above (Please refer to Point 7)
If we do not receive both pieces of information, the request will be unable to be processed.
Please note there may be circumstances where we cannot honor your request, as permitted under applicable laws. For example, if you request deletion, we may need to retain certain personal information to comply with our legal obligations.
9.Lodging a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your applicable regulatory authority.
If you are a resident in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
Please refer to your local reporting authority for the area under which you reside for information on registering a complaint via official channels.
Please note that we will comply with relevant authorities and will provide any requests for information within one calendar month.
